The bad bugs are called so by ignorant folks, or perhaps those who see themselves so high up the chain they cannot see the connection between their lives and those of insects. God might have conceived stewardship to test the progeny of forefathers, and this is a very encompassing thing. People have to live up to this, but even with all the advocacies, are just beginning to really understand it.
Only a few experts really care about the trillions of bugs and bacteria that populate the world, creating the hotbed of organic integrity, the life base of higher life forms. When the Buddha saw how no one living being on earth should be killed, he meant it literally.
Death here is of course nature simply happening, but it should be something natural after humans or bugs have gone the distance. When an educational system like this is effective, the advocacies will have done their share of the job. The possibility is not too distant now, while many people are making headway in proactive action that is set to help or improve the way folks treat the environment and other living beings. Funds can be the most important factors for people wanting to conserve things like ecosystems, biospheres, and the like. Many make their contributions but there has to be more, not just because governments are slow in efforts for helping the environment. They are stymied by the fact that there are no relevant laws that can put the environment on the priority list in the budget.
The human issues are still very important, but human interaction with the environment must be truly listed in these issues where laws are concerned. This is another advocacy for the organizations here, and it is taking some time for it to accomplish. Leaders may filibuster until the cows come home to fallow, chemically degraded pastures.
What is sad is that despite the actions and protests, there are leaders still acting this way. It can be hubris at work, and perhaps a misguided view of how humanity needs to work for the planet not as a diving being. They should start thinking about the smallness of people on the planetary skin, and how there are so many million planets.
There is no reason to be shamed by this fact, and every reason to try to fit into the real role that has been devised for humanity. That is the last and final thing that is being promoted by conservation groups. Once this is realized, humanity can restart and progress along the really important direction that it should be going.
But then, it can take some time for folks to really fathom how this truly works and how they can fit in. But the connection to the universe is there, and a real appreciation of the fact will mean people will know how to really appreciate the divinity. The generation of the moment might have a chance of seeing this happen, and the groups here are working for that.
