Professor Irwin stands the test of time as being one of the mentionable and most successful engineering scholars in the history of United States. He was born in August 1939, in Minnesota. In his lifetime career, he has struggled and managed to make much notable significance in the Engineering scene. <a href="http://burnhampub.com/">David Irwin</a> has vast eloquence in Engineering, and this has made him serve at top positions in the Electrical Engineering faculty and also other major associations.
Today, Irwin is the distinguished Earl C. Williams Scholar as well as former Dean of Engineering faculty, at Auburn University. He has served for a significantly long period at the helm of the Engineering Department at Auburn University, and brought a myriad of positive and notable changes to the institution, during his reign. He also served for a very long period of time at the topmost position or head of ECE, Electrical and Computer Engineering.

He never stooped there in the quest for education, since he progressed with learning, making him get awarded with a PhD. From Knoxville University in 1967. That was the end of his learning, from where he dived into the professional world.
Two years later after completing his PhD, 1969, he joined the prestigious Auburn University, where he served as an Assistant Professor in the department of Electrical Engineering. He rose through the ranks, and currently, Irwin is the Earl C. Williams Eminent Scholar, as well as Head of ECE department at the same institution, Auburn University.
Apart from serving these high-end capacities in major universities and engineering associations, David proved that he was not only a leader, but also an educator. In the university he taught, he was highly regarded by majority of his students, who viewed him as a tremendously calm but inspirational man. Many called him Coach, a name that he was widely referred to as because of his down to earth nature and teaching styles. His impressive teaching methodologies made him win massive liking amongst majority of his students, and he made them have zeal and anxiety to learn.
Irwin was also a great author. In his writings and books, he mainly concentrated on his line of passion, Electrical Engineering, circuits and other related fields. His pieces went a long way in popularizing him, since many were amazed at his great knowledge in Engineering. The Engineering textbooks were, and still are very helpful to engineering students and prospective electrical engineers.
It is also worth noting his warm relationship with the various students he has handled in his long career. His students have always known him very affectionately, and have nicknamed him as Coach. This is arguably because of his humble teaching methodologies. His exemplary teaching skills and modalities have made him a favorite across his student fraternity.
In conclusion, Irwin goes down the books of history as being one of the legendary figures and stakes in the Electrical Engineering scope, now and even many more years to come. He not only impacted on changing the Engineering field, but also inspired many young electrical engineering students who later became very successful in their dream careers.
